They didn't mention most of the candidates in that article. Heck, they
didn't even mention Gary Johnson in spite of the fact that it was his
first debate. That article was just about the 4 big things that one
writer has noticed. Plenty of things about the debate just didn't seem
to register with the writer as being important (like the gay solider
being booed by the crowd). Don't think it is anything about Paul
getting ignored specifically.
