Friend of mine told me about this yesterday. May have been out for awhile, but I hadn't heard of it before.
It's a mobile app that's good to use for situations where you want to text someone "hey I'm on my way" or "I'm heading home" to help them estimate when you might arrive. You set a limit on how long that person should be able to track you, and then it embeds a link within your text message that leads to a realtime map of your location. As long as the app's running the the background it will let the recipient know your location, direction, speed, and estimated time of arrival. I see lots of potential uses, like meeting someone for lunch and not sure when they are going to get there. Running late for a meeting, etc... http://glympse.com/ Cool. -Cameron -- Cameron Childress -- p: 678.637.5072 im: cameroncf facebook <http://www.facebook.com/cameroncf> | twitter<http://twitter.com/cameronc> | google+ <https://profiles.google.com/u/0/117829379451708140985> .... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:343036 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
