Now, here's the more impactful type of effort I was talking about.
Transferring money out of big banks en masse will make much more
impact than the occupy movement.

"Together we can ensure that these banking institutions will always
remember the 5th of November!! If the 99% removes our funds from the
major banking institutions to non-profit credit unions on or by 11/05,
we will send a clear message to the 1% that conscious consumers won't
support companies with unethical business practice."

However, I do still wonder, when it comes to occupy protesters

1) Does a typical occupy protester have enough money in their account
for a big bank to even notice?  If you believe them, they don't.

2) Why do the occupy protesters participating in the Bank Transfer Day
still have accounts at big banks?  Doesn't that make them part of the
problem they are complaining about?

Still, a good idea and is "putting your money where your mouth is"...
