Microsoft research has a new research project called holodesk. Yes,
that's desk, not deck. Nothing exceptionally new here as we've seen
interactive 3d stuff before but it's a nice attempt. It'll still be
100 odd years before we get to play with it...unless there's a real
market for it somewhere. If someone can make money off of it, we'll
have it for our next birthday. (yeh, right)

Personally, I'm waiting for the affordable 3d glasses that I can plug
into my computer in place of a monitor. Affordable ones, not the $1000
stuff that's been available for the last 20 years (literally).
