I am currently contemplating changing my degree plan from Military History
to Information Technology Management. Since I have rejoined the Army I have
not paid any attention to the tech field nor future projections of jobs in
the near future. I retire from the Army in 2015. My initial desire was to
be a teacher, but as I think more and more about it, I am not sure that
this is such a great idea since I tend to have a low tolerance for juvenile
delinquents, and I will be 52 when I retire, not sure if this is a
desirable age for high school teachers, especially new ones.
Anyone know what the future looks like in the tech world. I will do some
research on my own of course but I am sure that many if not all of you are
still plugged into the tech world. I am really not interested in
programming anymore, but more management.

Thanks all and Merry Christmas in advance.

Bruce
