Why should there be a distinction.  What do those comments have to do with
his medical practice?  They sound like political comments to me.  If you
allow something to be published under your name, regardless if you wrote it
or not...it is your baby and you are fullyt responsible for it.  Ask any
editor at a magazine or a newspaper what would happen if an article that was
bad got out under their watch and they are just editors...

He was not in political office when this crap came out and was focused on
his medical practice.  Doesn't totally excuse it, but it's an important
distinction to make.
