I did also want to comment that I don't completely understand this black bloc bullshit but everytime I hear about them -- and I can think of incidents in Oakland, San Francisco and Santa Cruz off the top of my head in addition to the charging the police thing yesterday -- they really seem to do more harm than good and generally provide the police with an excuse to act against hippies blocking the street doing yoga, who might be annoying but definitely aren't hurting anyone...
I know they were a huge problem for Occupy Oakland, whoever the fuck they are, and as far as I can tell just show up to fight the police.
