You probably have the same gotcha in 10 64 bit that you have in 9 64 bit
with COM objects as that was a MS thing...so if you are going from a lower
version, like 7 into 10, those will have to be replaced.  The DBType
attribute in CFQuery is only used if it is a Query on Query.  Anything else
will throw an error (it used to be ignored up until 9).  I have done a few
upgrades to 9 over the past couple of years.  If there are no changes from
9-10, then 8 or lower into 10 should only really have these.

To answer Bruce's question:

The major changes in 10 are to the backside, JRun is no more. It's built on
Tomcat. So far it seems to much more responsive.
The same goes for Verity, being replaced with Solr. You still handle
collections the same way, just a different server on the back end.

Anything that you did in 9 should work in 10. I haven't seen any reports of
tag depreciation....
