While some people may still believe that Barry is not a socialist, I think most people realized a long time ago that it just isn't the case.
Anyway, it seems that new documents have surfaced that show Barry was a member of the socialist New Party and sought their endorsement for a 1996 state senate race. Minutes from the 01/16/1996 New Party meeting say the following: Barack Obama, candidate for State Senate in the 11th Legislative District, gave a statement to the membership and answered questions. He signed the New Party “Candidate Contract” and requested an endorsement from the New Party. He also joined the New Party. He was only on the cover of a New Party pamphlet that was distributed in 1996 and the New Party's scrubbed web page once had the following: *Illinois: Three NP-members won Democratic primaries last Spring and face off against Republican opponents on election day: Danny Davis (U.S. House), Barack Obama (State Senate) and Patricia Martin (Cook County Judiciary)."* Good thing there are archiving websites. When asked about the New Party in the past, Barry and his spokespeople have always denied membership. Just another lie piled on top of legion of others he has unleashed. While it is not a crime to be a socialist, he shouldn't have lied about it. Hell, being a socialist might make some people even more excited to vote for him. Also, kudos to the MSM for the excellent job it did in not investigating his ties to the New Party. No agenda there. What are the odds that they actually cover this. J - We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. - Barack Obama I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody. - Barack Obama ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:351755 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
