Skimmed it. It basically gives the US rights to do with the information whatever they want. The regulations can be interpreted and loopholes can be found to never have to inform Canadian authorities. And it applies to Canadian citizens as well. So what the US does with this information may contravene what applies in Canada regarding privacy rights. That really, really sucks. More so since the truth about how the Patriot Act, and by extrapolation all these other invasions of privacy and authoritarian laws, has been used.
