My classic was a letter to the editor of the local paper. A bit of background, In Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, it can get cold enough during the winter that starting your car is very difficult, if not impossible at times. So what a lot of people do is get electric engine block heaters for their car. So there are electrical outlets by driveways and in parking lots for people to plug in their block heaters.
In this letter, the writer wanted to thank the city for being so nice to tourists by providing electrical outlets for their RV's all over the place. That tourist was almost as smart as the one I saw driving with chains on his tires in the middle of summer near Revelstoke BC, because he heard that Revelstoke got a lot of snow. larry -- Larry C.
