-----Original Message----- From: Bruce Sorge [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2012 3:04 PM To: cf-community Subject: Suggestions for site work So I am working on a site that allows people to register for something at a resort, and once that is done they get a barcode generated for them to print out with the resort. One of the features that the customer wants is a way to prevent the same person from registering more than once. I am not sure how to go about this since there are ways around this. For instance, I have four email addresses and three types of ID (CO Drivers License, Military ID and Passport). So I can use all three ID's with three different emails to register for the same resort. I am thinking of a combination of things, like first and last name plus ID number plus address or something along that line, but again this can be defeated by using a fake address and passport combination since the passport does not have your address on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is pro bono work for a friend BTW, not that it matters. Just doing some small projects to get back my skills.
