Sounds awesome, thanks for the reply. We were thinking of checking into a local custom bed company called European Sleep Works but this sounds intriguing. ESW beds can be adjusted for your preferences, and supposedly have higher coil counts, better ingredients, etc. http://www.sleepworks.com/s_suspension.htm
The two of us big kids need a well-made bed. Interestingly, we've been scrunched into a "full" bed for 27 years now - almost have to roll over in unison <g>. If we move up to Queen would lose the wood headboard and footboard that match the rest of the bedroom furniture, plus have to get new bedding. And a King probably wouldn't fit well the way our room is arranged. -Ben > > dumb question: what's a Somma bed? > > Think of this, a hard base with tubes above it, you fill the tubes with > water (to the pressure you want), then put a small matress/cover over > the top > > Gives you a bed with "spring" settings as you want them, and the springs > never get worn out (as they're water) > > http://www.flobeds.com/FloSomma.htm > (after a VERY quick search on Google) > > Philip Arnold > Technical Director > Certified ColdFusion Developer > ASP Multimedia Limited > Switchboard: +44 (0)20 8680 8099 > Fax: +44 (0)20 8686 7911 > > www.aspmedia.co.uk > www.aspevents.net > > An ISO9001 registered company. > > ********************************************************************** > This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and > intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they > are addressed.
