I bought the 3G & WiFi version when I got mine, for the "just in case"
moments when I might want to sign up for 3G. I loved the fact I only had to
do it on a month to month basis if I ever did sign up.

That said, had it for a year now, traveled many places with it, and still
haven't had the need to activate it.
