I've never attacked the Bible. I have attacked the use of the Bible by those on both sides who use selected verses to support their positions while ignoring anything that doesn't fit their bias. Big difference.
As for me using the Bible to attack religious people, that is also not what I do. I do point out obvious hypocrisy, such as the use of one or two verses in Leviticus to justify bias against gays while completely disregarding the rest of the book. I am also not shy about pointing out that those who use the Bible only as a political tool aren't truly Christians. If you are reading that as an attack on religious people, then you are only seeing through your own distorted view of my opinions, because those people are not religious. They are propagandists who are using religion for their own gain.
