enjoy. Basically what they boil down to is that there are new strains of infectious bacteria that are now resistant to most if not all antibiotics. Unfortunately the return on developing new ones are not enough to encourage the pharma industry to develop new ones. Unfortunately government agencies like NIAD and NIH are not set up to develop new antibiotics.
