You tell me who "they" are and where they are and I'll have no problem with us blowing them to hell. You seem dead set on escalating a war in an area where we can't win. Can we carpet bomb it? Sure. We could flatten the entire middle east. Would that make anything better for us? Nope. You want revenge, you want a disproportionate response. That's what they want us to do. The guys behind this shit don't care if we bomb the crap out of the civilians, if we don't do it, they will. They just want an ugly Us vs Them scenario at every turn because that's how they recruit.
Find out who is behind the attacks, track them down, take them out. We have been pretty successful at taking out command and control personnel in a variety of terrorist groups and we seem to be getting better. Your "bomb them back to the middle ages" attitude won't work because they already are in the middle ages, they want to pull everyone around them down to their level. Don't help them. We are a strong country. Do it smart, keep our eye on the goal, don't get baited and taunted into stupid shit.
