You're running Mountain Lion correct? Apple in its wisdom removed the
Web Sharing preference pane, and suggests you use the $20 OSX server.

That said, Tyler Hall has released a web sharing preference pane as an

BTW he also has a great app called VirtualHostX which makes setting up
virtual hosts in apache very easy. Well worth getting -
