The individual right to bear arms has only been decided law for less than 2 years, but yeah, I agree. Hence why it is important to be very careful about infringing upon that right and making sure any laws impacting that right are narrowly tailored. Just like, for instance, laws banning felons from voting need to be very narrowly tailored.
