The first 2 weeks...only water. The next 2 weeks...clear liquids only.
Then after that you can start on soft foods...the consistency of baby foods.
So finally after about 2 months, you can finally start eating real food.
Now keep in mind, the space in your stomach now has the volume of about 1
cup. Also, most people that have this, 99% are also diabetics, so they are
also having to make sure they maintain their blood sugar levels. The one I
am going to be getting, they sew off the top 1/4 of your stomach and move
the entry to the intestines up to the bottom of this. If you eat or drink
too much, your body purges. You get really bad abdominal cramps and the
rest I'll leave to your imagination ;-) The reason most people fail is that
they can't stick to just eating and drinking a cup of food and drink at each
meal. Your stomach will expand if you keep eating more, though you would
think that the purging would be sufficient cause to not to hehehe.

Good luck - and I mean that in the most sincere way. Sounds like the work
required after the surgery to stay healthy is similar to that required
before.

I may be an insensitive prick, but I really do wish everyone to be healthy
at the end of the day.
