"Those are great points for Clinton/Dole or Obama/McCain. But now we've seen
the damage Obama can and will do. He should be stopped and if it's by a
lighter version it's still a little better."

I understand the argument and have used it in other elections. I am to the
point now that I believe that it is this line of reasoning that has brought
our country to where it is today.

"I was concerned that Romney was Obama-light but after watching his performance
in the debate and knowing Ryan will be VP I'm thinking he might actually
bring spending back down to Bush levels at least. "

Romney earned some Republican creds in the debate by destroying the empty
suit (who thought he won), but Bush level spending is still too high.

I am of the opinion now that if our country is on the track to destruction,
either go full throttle (Obama) or stop. Don't choose a candidate who will
maintain the same speed.

And I think that Barack has done a phenomenal job working around a Congress
that has never been willing to help move the country forward on so many
different issues. But I think he’s done everything humanly possible to get
things passed around the margins. - Michelle Obama
