We have made a ton of mistakes with the Islamic world. This has distressed me greatly considering the things I've done over seas and under arms, as I can see our hands in the roots of a lot of what's going on today. Putting in the Shah in Iran, maybe even the creation of Israel, I don't know. Maybe would should have let the Israelis fight for and win it themselves. It's tough. The guilt I sometimes feel is overwhelming.
That being said Obama's ideas are not the answer. Drone attacks and collateral damage are bringing more and more people to the other side. the countries we are in primarily do not want us there. Neither of these candidates are going to bring the troops home truly, and both have indicated they will continue to use force, even expanding on what we have now. No sir, there is very little truth coming out of either camp right now, and it disgusts me.
