Hey Larry,

I'm from Ireland I don't have a professional psychologist,
a lot of Americans tend to see shrinks, well thats the way it is percieved
over here anyway.

Over here a psychologist would probaly say, your normal, go for a pint with
your mates.

No just go to a doctor and get a referral to a professional psychologist for
a complete assessment. He charges your health insurance $75 an hour (if he's
lucky) or a fixed fee (if he's not) and then passes the report on to you and
the referring physician etc. 

My main research interests in psych was in cognitive and attention research,
although a lot of the work I did overlapped different clinical areas.
