I just spent 64 minutes on the phone with Gateway, trying to order a new laptop, based on a quote I configured last night, and at the veeeeeeery end of the call, when I asked the rep to read the specs off the order, he starts with "14.1 inch screen..." and I was like, "Whoaaaa, no no, 15, as it's listed on the quote..."
I'm pretty happy with the specs, otherwise. It's my 3rd gateway (bought a pretty powerful desktop last June, running SQL and CF and IIS very smoothly) and I'm pretty psyched about getting my hands on this new laptop. I have to give up the one my office provided me with, which I couldn't be happier about. It's a 2+ year old Dell Latitude (with Apache, CF and SQL), and it's a dog... So, now I'm waiting for the rep to talk to his supervisor and get back to me... Come-on already! It's hard to part with that much money, lets just get it over with! Thank G-d for tax write-offs...
