There's Hell, and then there's Gitmo. I remember when my ship was there for refresher training (that's where U.S. Navy ships in the Atlantic Fleet go for RefTra). The way things were progressing I didn't think we'd ever get out of there. Thank goodness there was alcohol at the officer's club on base.
We finally left Gitmo and headed for a liberty port in Port Au Prince, Haiti. I take back what I said above...there's Hell, and then there's Haiti, and *then* there's Gitmo.
