I could say something really snarky here but I'll let it go.

My point is if you benefit from the union, and most blue collar
workers do, you ought to pay for it. Thing is we're mostly not blue
collar workers and do not benefit from a union. I've worked several
jobs where I did benefit from the union, and accordingly did not
object to paying for the help the union provides.

The so called right to work laws are not that. They should really be
called the right to bust unions laws.
