I posted a message demonstrating that the morals found in the moral
reference book of 90% of Americans are not that better than the ones today.

True.  But that's pretty much my point.  Something happens and people make
assumptions about the cause of the event without any kind of supporting
evidence.

If you really want my opinion.....No, I don't believe there is a moral
decline going on.  Morals are changing no doubt, but I don't believe it's
an overall decline.

I think most of the stuff being said about "moral decline, lack of personal
responsiblity, etc" is coming from pundits trying to increase the ratings
of the radio/tv shows.  Yes, I do think there are individuals who lack
personal responsibility.  There have *always* been individuals like that
though.  Just like there's always been individuals with lower moral values
than the society they live in.  It's not something that new though.  It's
just the flavor de jour for the talking heads.
