Another thing that struck me in all of this.  My wife just started a couple
of weeks ago as a store manager at Panera Bread.  When she called in to tell
them that she wasn't going to be in for a few days, not only did they tell
her to take all the time she needs, but they also offered to pay for the
funeral expenses.  That was totally awesome of them.  It's good to see that
there at some large companies that actually give a shit about people and
care more for their employees and not just their profits.  Panera has a
permanent customer in me now.
