Heros and Lost were great. I'm rewatching The West Wing right now.

I remembered the show fondly, but had missed a lot of it during the time I
was in the Army and Government Service.

Funny, as bad as I thought things were then, I'm saddened by how far we
have slipped in the basic ideas of representative government and
enlightenment philosophy and civil discourse and respect of the individual
and their liberties.

Presdient Obama, and President Bush before him, both have led to such a
devisive split in this country that really scares the shit out of me right
now. Which is funny considering how close, or even identical, many of
their primary policies and orders and such have been.

The west wing is so refreshing to me. Martin Sheen's role is amazing. The
dialog is amazing. Even when I don't agree, I understand. The show
panders to me and my history and philosophy fetish.
