I see tons of pages with little actual research. It's just what the right-wing talks about when they want to energize the resentful elements of their base is all.
Like Susana Martinez who keeps giving press conferences and talking about thousands of illegal aliens with New Mexico diver's licenses who are supposedly using them to vote. When you really look at the numbers, she's counting everyone with a New Mexico driver's license who was born in another country. A lot of those people are legal and a lot of those people actually have become citizens who are perfectly entitled to vote at this point. And three, count em, *three* separate *Republican* investigations have failed to document any illegal aliens attempting to vote. And that's just the one I know about because it pisses me off that they keep trying to use me to feed people's prejudices. Sigh. Sure, there is generational poverty, and there are parents who need to be smacked. But the solution, I submit, is not making less food available to their children.
