I agree. If you can do it, great. If you can't, you can't. The same standards should apply. What I personally find wrong is the presumption that a muscular 5'11" woman could not meet the standard *because she is a woman*, whereas a 5'6" Japanese man is presumed able to meet them until he demonstrates otherwise.
Not that I personally am at all affected, but it seems to me that if there are minimum physical standards for a job they shoould apply regardless of gender or ethnicity.
