I thought I knew a lot about ssh, but there's a lot I didn't. This video
starts you down the path:

http://vimeo.com/54505525

I've got my setup now so that all my connections from home(where I'm working
today) will go through my pc at work and automatically route to the correct
destination

#server inside company firewall
Host ccip.p
  HostName server-ip-address
  User admin-user
  Port 43210

#publicly accessible workstation
Host imac
  HostName my-ipaddress at work
  User username
  Port 22

Host *.from-home
  ProxyCommand ssh -A imac nc `echo "%h" | cut -d '.' -f 1,2` 43210

Host *
  Compression yes
  ServerAliveInterval 120
  ForwardAgent yes

So, the command I use when at work is 'ssh ccip.p', but from home it will be
'ssh ccip.p.from-home'

These are the kinds of reasons I could never go back to using Windows as my
development platform.
