at the same time 'gel the left wing and progressive parties in the EU do have a strong anti-Semitic streak. I would like to say anti_Israel, but after reading some of the more recent screeds, its not anti-zionist, but anti-semitic.
That said, by in large it is the progressives that have been at the forefront of anti-racism movements.
