For some odd reason my external drive that I am using for my TimeMachine backups is suddenly Read Only now. When I get info, it shows as Mac OS Extended, and has been working for quite a while. On the permissions I shows that me and staff have read/write privileges and everyone is read only. I can't change anything either even when I unlock it. Any ideas? I have googled the issue and all I really find are how to do this using the finder app (which is not working) and how to read an NTFS or Fat32 partition with a MAC.
