So you're saying that pride is based on deprivation? sounds like apples vs. broccoli to me. I'm betting that not one single gay will say that they deserve their parade because they have been prevented from adopting or marrying. They'll say (truthfully) that it is a sign of pride in who they are. So why can't straights have a parade with pride in who they are? Still sounds like a double standard to me.
