While I may not agree that 'Catholicism' should be listed alongside groups such as the KKK, I think there are many Catholics (and members of other Christian denominations) who are as equally 'extreme' in their belief in the Bible and Jesus as our savior as, say, Muslims are in their belief of Mohammed - some, maybe even more so.
'Extremist' should not imply 'violent' - even though some people tend to use those words as synonyms.
