that book is neither scientifically nor historically accurate. What do you expect for something written by a bunch of semi-literate 8th century BCE sheep herders? for instance, consider Tyre and Sidon in Lebanon.
In Ezek.26:7-14, 26:2 and 27:36 God says that Tyre will be destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar and never rebuilt It will never be found again according to God in Ezek.26:21. But.. . Mark 7:24, Matt.15:21, Acts 21 :3, and Mark 3:8 show that Tyre existed throughout New Testament times. It still exists today. They didn't even get the evidence right before them correct (And I didn't even mention grasshoppers or locusts).
