Bah, rattlesnakes are called the "Gentlemen of snakes". They aren't overly aggressive, they leave at the first sound/sight of humans, and they give you a big loud warning before they strike.
Cottonmouths on the other hand.....give no warning, won't budge even if they see you coming, and have no problems striking at the smallest irritation.
