Considering that deportations are up substantially under the current administration, I am curious which laws they are ignoring. Apparently no one can answer that question with any kind of definitive proof.
And while common sense is a good thing, I don't recall ever seeing it applied when it comes to immigration. I will fully admit to bias on this topic, however, as I would abolish border and nations completely. It is difficult for me to have a discussion about the issue as I disagree pretty strongly with both sides.
