Lawrenceville is not my cup of tea. Tell them to buy a baby pool to sit
around outside and stick your feet in it. That helps a ton if you're
outside awhile.

If you really want to make it nice and cold, fill up about 6 or 7
water balloons and put them in the freezer two days before. The rubber of
the balloon will expand and not pop. Then you have a bunch of (colorful)
giant ice bricks that will last all day and keep the water in the pool
cold. I've used this trick to keep a beer tub cold for an entire sunny
Atlanta afternoon. I assume they will last most of an afternoon in a baby
pool.
