A little late to the party... I got a Google Nexus 4 back in May and I love it.
LG constructed, un-nerfed Android 4.2.2 (IIRC the only phone on the market whose OS hasn't been touched by the carrier), no stupid rules about uninstallable, pre-installed apps. A little spendy, but if your plan is up for renewal and you're on T-Mobile, it is worth a look...
