What does Code Red conditions mean? As for eMachines, I have bought them for my father, sister and brother-in-law, great-aunt. I was having to trouble shoot their old machines all week and every weekend over the phone and in person. Since I bought them new machines (some are 3 years old), I haven't had to troubleshoot anything but a burned out CD player (2/12 year old nephew and a stack of quarters).
I own 3 at the moment. Never a hiccup. and I got each for under 400 dollars (had monitors and CD burners and extra memory already.) The cheap ones are not state-of-the-art. but the are very stable machines, running 95, 98, NT 4 and now 2000 Pro. Can not recommend them highly enough. I am now going to proceed to Baja Fresh and eat lunch in air conditioning. Woo hoo! : ) (I feel bad about driving around unnecessarily during Code Red conditions but I really need to get out for a little while. Plus I can stop and stock up on sale-priced cat litter while I'm out.) Does anyone know anything good/bad about emachines? I was looking at the ads in Sunday's paper and I could buy an emachines computer about 10 times better (on paper!) than this old Packard Bell for about $400, after rebates. Decisions, decisions.... Thanks for thinking of me Gel and Beth! e - too hot and sweaty for any more letters __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
