Peripherals aren't compatible afaik. The Last of Us is an awesome game that most players find to be very emotionally fulfilling. But you can't compare an entire Console, which it seems is a long term goal, with the immediate gratification of a single game.
Then again, depending on how long you can wait the price is likely to drop on both items.
