This cycle goes on in my state as well. People quit paying attention, and
the nutters get on these boards, fuck it all up....people are roused from
their sleep, vote the nutters out, and everything goes back to normal for a
awhile...until the cycle repeats.

Same thing happens in mid term elections on the local level across this
country. The zealots and nutters thrive on apathy or disinterest. They know
they are in the vast minority, so it's the only way they can have their
temporary victories.

The majority of Texans (and Kansans) believe in science and evolution and
want their children instructed as such.
