Gives you an idea of the flavor of the election here. We have a Clinton political operative on one side, running against an AG who wants to make BJ's illegal (that in and of itself should guarantee his defeat). For Lt. Governor we have a neurologist who runs one of the larger free clinics in the tidewater region vs a religious fanatic (Jackson). And for state AG on one side is a state senator whose been low key all through his career, vs. a state senator who wanted to make it a felony if a woman failed to report a miscarriage. That is right he wanted women arrested for not reporting miscarriage.
Some election - actual reasonableness vs right wing fanaticism. Unfortunately aside from parts of Virginia like Northern Virginia and the Tidewater, a lot of the state more ignorant than Mississippi or Alabama.
