Ironically Cruz was born in Edmonton Alberta. At the time Alberta had a more radical version of the Canadian single payer system. If Cruz was not the hypocrite he is and genuinely believes that socialized medicine is evil, then why has he not reimbursed the government of Alberta for the cost of the prenatal care, the cost of birthing, and the cost of post natal care, as well as all the health related doctor visits he benefitted from until age 4.
