If your a good programmer you are lazy. You've set your IDE to do half your work for you with each keystroke doing 5 different things. If you're a great programmer you're comatose and you program using the flutter of your eyelids. :)
That being said, I was addressing the author's "why is religion declining" part with my "easy to be lazy" comment. The comment to you was the generalization of religion's use "mostly to terrorists or would-be cult leaders, or those looking to bilk the simple for monetary gain" Those in your mostly are a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a percent. I make it a point never to question the religious feeling and/or observance of others. Religion is a chosen burden, just don't try to force me to carry yours (non-person specific yours) because I'll never force you (non-specific you) to carry mine. >> Who wants to do that.
