Ah, can't SING. Got it. I don't think he had a great voice, in a classic sense. He had a great ear, and he sang with emotion. Which I usually like more than someone like with great natural gifts, and no FEELING. (that is what I dislike about American Idol. Someone like Lou Reed, or Willie Nelson, or heck, Taylor Swift would never make it past the first week. And we would all be poorer without them)
