As long as they stay out of te political arena...they can collect all the
money they want.  When they want to get involved in politics...then they
need to get that tax exempt status yanked out from under them.

A deficit that's at the lowest it's been in 5 years, by the way, according
to an article on read on Yahoo today.

As for religion and taxes: Money given freely by a group of people as a
collective to serve a similar interest among that group....which is
essentially what a "church parish" is, should not be taxed. But they should
be closely watched.
