you are probably going to want to learn a little bit of some javascript
framework. Ember. Angular. Backbone.

for phonegap, although that has changed since, ray camden had a couple of
good example projects he walked through, that showed the features and
corners of phonegap. that is how i learned.

html5 you know. you just dont know you know it yet. new doctype. just a
couple of new tags, a couple of new features, but it isnt rocket science.
any beginning html5 article on google should set you on the right path.
